Activities
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, Ft. Vancouver Son's of the American Revolution is dedicated to making a lasting impact. While our efforts are driven by our organization’s focus, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of programs.

SAR’s Silver Good Citizenship Award
Award presented to Russell Brent, owner of Mill Creek Pub, for his years of service to his community and his efforts to enhance the livability of our area, train and motivate our youth regarding business and provide support and succor to our veterans, our local service organizations and the general public who enjoys his product and his unique food services. Brent then talked to the chapter about his career and his commitment both to his profession and his community.

Formal Presentation
“Restorative Justice” by Bob Richardson, Chief of Police, Battle Ground, WA. The two major youth issues for law enforcement in our community are drugs (particularly marijuana) and alcohol. He talked about the change during his tenure in the way his police officers deal with juveniles regarding truancy, petty theft, drug and alcohol abuse and non-violent infractions.
